• Please ask the Lord to calm the wind and protect the firefighters as they battle fires in Colorado and three other western states.

Thank you all so much for praying – our community [Haxtun, CO] has been hit hard but it has been incredible to see everyone come together. Please keep praying for the wind to die down. So much loss. But God is good.

• Please pray for those who are overwhelmed and discouraged by technology and the learning curve. Father, please encourage us all Louise Looney’s example. (Louise started her writing career at age 79. Since then she has written one award-winning book and four more. In addition to keynoting at CCWC, she would love to meet with you during a one-on-one appointment to offer prayer and encouragement.)

I’m on a time crunch getting out entertaining and uplifting You Tubes to start this week-end. Pray they will attract believers as well as non-believers and cause them to want to know the Lord initially or better. The Lord has been with me in amazing ways!

• Please pray for the mailing to 46 Christian schools and 20 homeschool groups about the May 20 Teens Write at CCWC. Kim and Kayla Woodhouse and Darcie Gudger have planned an exciting day-long learning opportunity. Father, please raise up young people to know You and desire to serve You through the ministry of writing.

• Pray continue to pray that I will be keenly aware of Father’s leading as I finalize the faculty and workshops for the July 26-29 Greater Philly Christian Writers Conference and begin work on the brochure and updating the website.
